At Brookes Cambridge, we feel the Arts are central to a child’s progression in life.

“My approach to drama comes from the passion of working with directors and actors at the height of their fame. It is taught with passion, spirit, energy, excitement and brings out the qualities and develops the inquisitiveness of each child.”
Mr Woolf
Drama Teacher

Drama can be used to support music, to enhance a love of literature across the world, to experience so many art forms from theatre to film and to opera but above all it helps in a child’s confidence, in their ability to express, their engagement with the world is so much more vivid and drama involves teamwork, a company spirit and engenders a generosity to other performers.

We offer specialist teaching in LAMDA examinations which can be in Speaking Verse and Prose, Acting, Public Speaking and a new course for 2016/2017 in Shakespeare. Our specialist teacher comes from a background in professional theatre and taught at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama for 15 years.
